What To Expect
Your First Visit
When you undergo care at Elevation Chiropractic, we never refer to you as a patient. We believe this is a very impersonable term to use for someone that we care about. At Elevation - you become part of the wellness family. You are one of us. You are a practice member.
We understand that going somewhere new for the first time can be stressful. Here at Elevation Chiropractic, we want to take that stress away and show you what we're all about. Scroll down to learn more about your first visit with us!
Arrival and Paperwork
When you first arrive at Elevation, you are greeted and given your paperwork to fill out. This typically takes around 10-15 minutes. You are always more than welcome to fill this out beforehand and bring it with you to save some time.
Tour The Office
After turning in your paperwork, you will be given a quick tour of the office so that you can get to know us and make yourself at home whenever you are here.
X-Rays
To see is to know, to not see is to guess. We do not guess when it comes to your health!
After touring the office, we will take you back for X-rays. Seeing your structure gives us a better idea of what's going on with your health and also makes us aware of any limitations for your adjustments. Conveniently located in our office, our X-ray machine is professional, simple, and usually only takes about 5 minutes.
Don't worry! We don't X-ray our pregnant moms or our little Chiro-kids.
Consultation
During your consultation, Dr. Jake will review your paperwork and health goals while also educating about nerve interference, our technique, the report of findings, and his recommendations. During this time, you will have the opportunity to ask questions about your X-rays, Elevation, your health, and chiropractic care.
Your First Adjustment
Following the consultation, you have the opportunity to be adjusted by Dr. Jake! First, he will go over the techniques and instruments he will be using. He will make sure that you are comfortable and that you understand what he's doing and why he's doing it. Chiropractic adjustments at Elevation are gentle enough for children and specific enough to benefit practice members of all ages and health conditions.
